Gregory Raiz is a recovering entrepreneur and the General Partner of FoundersEdge, a venture capital firm dedicated to supporting early-stage founders in building game-changing companies. FoundersEdge takes a hands-on approach, investing in pre-seed startups with a focus on user experience and the evolving landscape of technology, particularly in AI. The firm emphasizes data-driven decision-making and strong community support, working closely with founders to accelerate their growth.
Before launching FoundersEdge, Greg was the Managing Director of Techstars Boston and the founder and CEO of Raizlabs, a four-time Inc. 5000 winner and a pioneer in mobile technology development and design. Under Greg’s leadership, Raizlabs earned numerous accolades for innovation and excellence before he sold the business in 2017, staying on as Chief Innovation Officer with the acquiring firm.
With deep expertise in design and engineering, Greg has overseen the development and launch of hundreds of successful products, collaborating with companies such as AAA, Dunkin’ Donuts, GE, Macy’s, Sanofi, and many others. His strategic insights and customer-first philosophy have made him a sought-after speaker, engaging thousands of executives and tech leaders on innovation, AI, mobile, and the future of technology.
Greg holds a Computer Science degree from Tufts University and remains committed to supporting the Boston startup ecosystem. As an angel investor and advisor, he is passionate about fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs and shaping the future of software.
